A Brief History
Spooky Horehound is an original member, influential in the founding of Team Science. Considered an eccentric by many, our hero showed signs of scientific interest at a very young age. By the time he was 12 he had already created and marketed his own Chemistry Set for children, which was later removed from stores due to controversial images included in its manual. As a musical connoisseur he likened himself and his recordings to that of early Keely Smith records, but the connection was never trully understood by the music community. His one obsession amoung many was that of the Diarrhea Brothers and their music. Their self-proclaimed "Biggest Fan", continued on into academia and progressed at startling rates. His Mothrafictation studies peaked his interest in other unpopular sciences alike. After achieving his MS he continued intensive research, developing a ground breaking new science now known as Aquastronomics*, for which Spooky founded a new department of science at the University of Tokyo, and it was in this, his own science that he accomplished his Phd. While in the program he began writting a book that would soon gain acclaim in scientific ciricles and cause even the most well respected minds to rethink their previous findings. When his book "Aquastronomics* & You" was first released it took the scientific research field by storm, gaining fast support, and being called an "ingenious feat" was quickly awarded "The Outstanding Excellence in the Field of Science Award" from the Rhode Island School of Design. It wasnt without out some criticism however, Spooky could hardly write anything scientific without alluding to a Diarrhea Brothers song. However, this obsession was typically ignored and thus the music of Diarrhea Brothers went on, somewhat under the radar of public eye. But ironically their music would prove to be the vessel by which Team Science would eventually take shape and intergalactic paths would most certainly intersect.
Over the next four months Spooky was hardly seen, and hid away in his many research laboratories, conducting unimaginable experiments, developing a new scientific method and making amazing scientific break throughs. Within these four short months Spooky released seven (including "The Invisible Mystery Book of Horehound") more books expanding the Aquastronomics* library. The Scientific community was stunned. With each book release came more and more acclaim, along with increasing skepticism. Durring this time the Church of The Subgenious declared Spooky Tiberious Horehound "a modern day prophet", but when asked to comment on this declaration Spooky only shouted "I Wanna Rock!". Nearing the release of his last three books, dealing specifically with Sea, Space and Magic (-ik, -ick) many major funders of The Aquastronomical Research Coalition, withdrew their contributions in dissapointment. Nonetheless, and without funding Spooky finished "his last Masterpiece" (as quoted by the Dresden Journal of Scientific Progress). When "Aquastronomics*, Magick & You" was released, Spooky Horehound was altogther shunned by the scientific community. With little support left and very few sympathizers, he moved to Germany to continue underground research. This story is all but comming to an end, a new begining is just upon the equinox. Several years later, after many more experiments and findings, our hero finally met his faithfull cohort and intergalactic partner when Nozar Klarg touched down onto earthen soil by landing on a reception pad built for the CosmoNazis homecomming . The future held the formation of Team Science and the creation of Magical Enlightenment, crustacean evolution, and the foretold legacy of the man-lobster, Lamarooner.
